US official Jerome Adams, who heads the US Public Health Service, warned Monday that the intensity of the new Corona epidemic will intensify this week in the United States, and said people across the country are not taking the threat seriously enough.
"I want America to realize that the situation this week is going to be bad," Adams said during an interview with NBC News.
He said that the Corona virus (Covid-19) is spreading because many, especially the younger ones, do not adhere to the guidelines for staying at home and practicing social spacing.
"At the moment, there are not enough people to take the situation seriously," he said.
