The Ministry of Health and Community Protection announced the monitoring and registration of 45 new cases of the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19), through early and active and continuous investigation, of different nationalities, during its periodic briefing on the details and update of health conditions associated with the virus, while announcing the recovery of three new cases For people living with HIV, and recover fully from the symptoms of the disease after receiving the necessary health care, bringing the number of recoveries so far to 41.
While the number of cases that have been diagnosed reached 198 cases so far, the Ministry revealed that one of the cases returned from traveling with the home stone did not comply for a period of 14 days, which resulted in the injury of 17 persons of his relatives, acquaintances, and co-workers because of his contact.
The spokesperson for the health sector in the country, Dr. Farida Al Hosani, explained during the briefing that all cases are currently isolated, being dealt with, and providing all health services to them, according to the approved procedures, noting that the new cases of infection are due to different nationalities, including a person from the Philippines and Iraq Tunisia, Syria, Kuwait, Italy, Peru, Ethiopia, Lebanon, Somalia, Britain, Sudan, Egypt, Ireland, Russia, Montenegro, France and Poland, two people from Canada, three people from Bangladesh, four each from: Pakistan, the United States of America, and seven people from each of the Emirates India, while two cases of healing came from Nepal and one from Iran.
