The Military Spokesman of the Egyptian Armed Forces, Colonel Staff of Tamer Al-Rifai, said that as a continuation of the general command plan of the Armed Forces for the prevention of the new Corona virus, orders were issued to the specialized departments concerned with the implementation of cleansing and preventive sterilization of the liberation complex and a number of main fields and streets and vital installations and facilities surrounding the Tahrir Square, Frequently visited by large numbers of citizens.
The spokesman added, through his official page on the social networking site (Facebook), that the purification teams have been pushed to carry out their preventive work in the liberation complex and the offices, roads and elevators it contains, in addition to the external interface of the complex and all the surfaces, floors and walls, as well as implementing all preventive measures in the subway station ( Anwar Sadat), and what it contains of offices and gates for entry and exit, sidewalks and parking areas, as well as being a meeting place for all metro lines operating in Greater Cairo, which witnesses a large number of users.
He added that mobile and heavy sterilization and disinfection vehicles had been pushed to the liberation fields, Talaat Harb, Abdel-Moneim Riad, the Opera, the vicinity of the League of Arab States and the Omar Makram Mosque, in addition to a number of main streets leading to Tahrir Square and the Qasr El-Nil Bridge, in order to perform preventive actions for these vital places.
He explained that the armed forces were keen to use the latest methods of sterilization and disinfection equipment with international standards, to ensure the implementation of all procedures through the sophisticated scientific method that ensures implementation with the highest quality and the largest possible area, as well as the implementation of sterilization and disinfection work at late times from night until early morning, to ensure The traffic should not be disrupted, and preventive disinfection should be carried out as much as possible in those places as they vacate the hesitant citizens at that time.
This comes within the framework of the armed forces providing assistance to all different state agencies to confront the threat of the Corona virus, in a manner that guarantees the safety and protection of the Egyptian people.
