The Director of the Higher Colleges of Technology Complex, Dr. Abd Al-Latif Al-Shamsi stressed that the success of the distance learning experience was not the result of the moment, as the colleges worked over two years with international institutions to achieve the digital transformation of the campus as a whole, and enabled students from technological skills and dealing with distance learning techniques, And invested in preparing faculty members and enabling them to obtain a digital teacher’s certificate from Blackboard International, indicating that colleges previously applied distance learning partly in some lectures and between college branches, and today we have moved from partial transformation to college and distance learning has included all students with it.
He pointed out that colleges have a qualitative experience in the field of smart learning that confirms their high readiness compared to other educational institutions, and that the experiences that colleges offer provide an experience that can be used locally and even internationally.
Al-Shamsi said, "Distance learning is not limited to the Internet and a computer, but rather an integrated education system that relies on the readiness of digital infrastructure with high efficiency, training of students and faculty, and an investment in technology to provide interactive and enjoyable content for students."

For his part, Zayed University announced its intention to implement 6995 hours of distance learning until the end of this month in 2335 academic departments for the students who number 7136 students.

The university confirmed that students and faculty will complete educational materials through the "Adobe Connect" application to ensure an integrated and successful experience in distance learning, and this application is one of the optimal options for learning via the Internet as it is through direct and live communication between teachers and students.
