The Emirate of Umm Al Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah witnessed heavy rains accompanied by lightning and thunder in various regions, and the Director General of Central Operations in Ras Al Khaimah Police, Brigadier General, Mohammed Al Hamidi, told "Emirates Today" that the residents should not leave their homes except for the extreme necessity due to the rain fall Torrential, following the weather bulletins through the media, not allowing children to play outside and inspecting drains so that water does not collect at home.

He pointed out that all drivers must take care and caution and stay away from the canals of the valleys and mountains, and leave a sufficient safety distance between the drivers to avoid traffic accidents, noting that the Ras Al Khaimah police deployed traffic patrols on roads and public intersections in the emirate in order to facilitate traffic and control the movement of vehicles and help Drivers in case their vehicles break down due to rain.
