In Strasbourg, the environmental candidate Jeanne Barseghian came first in the first round of the municipal elections, ahead of Alain Fontanel (LREM) and the socialist Catherine Trautmann.

LREM had its sights set on the conquest of Strasbourg during these municipal elections. But it looks difficult, as evidenced by the results of the first round, still provisional. The environmental candidate Jeanne Barseghian (EELV) came out on top with 26.7% of the vote, ahead of Alain Fontanel (LREM, 20.6%). The majority candidate is closely followed by the socialist Catherine Trautmann (19.4%) and Jean-Luc Vetter (LR, 18.2%).
