The World Health Organization WHO has declared Corona 19's pandemic and global pandemic. This is the third Pandemic Declaration following the H1N1 flu influenza over 50 years ago. Now you may be wondering what it means to declare it, and based on the WHO's Pandemic Declaration, many countries can change their defense policy. The world is likely to focus on mitigation rather than the Corona19 blockade in the future.

WHO, which has been criticized for procrastinating against Corona 19, eventually declared a pandemic, a global pandemic.

Pandemic is the highest level of infectious disease that WHO classifies by risk.

[Governor Yeosu / WHO Secretary-General: We are deeply concerned about the proliferation and seriousness of Corona 19.]

At the pandemic stage, the emphasis is on alleviating the situation rather than blocking the spread of infection.

The decision came after more than 110,000 confirmed people from 114 countries and more than 4,000 people were killed.

The Pandemic Declaration is the third after the Hong Kong Flu in 1968 and the H1N1 Flu in 2009.

Still, WHO stressed that there was no pendemic that could be controlled before, and that all countries could change the course of this pandemic.

More than 90% of the cases were confirmed in 4 countries, of which Korea and China also showed a significant decrease.

[Governor Yeosu / WHO Secretary General: Expressing the situation in a pandemic does not change WHO's assessment of the risks posed by this virus.]

WHO has also called for aggressive responses to countries, and has also emphasized the need to balance health, economic and social disruption and respect for human rights.
