Chinanews.com Yuanwang No. 5 ship March 10 (Superior Wang Zhizhi) Yuan Wang No. 5 ship successfully completed the 54th Beidou navigation satellite maritime measurement and control mission in a certain Pacific Ocean area on the 9th.

The construction of the BeiDou system has gone through three phases of the BeiDou 1 system, the BeiDou 2 system, and the BeiDou 3 system. At present, all 4 test satellites of the BeiDou 1 have been retired, counting from the first star of the BeiDou 2 and China has launched 54 Beidou navigation satellite.

The Beidou-3 system consists of 24 medium-circle earth orbits, 3 geostationary orbits, and 3 inclined geosynchronous orbits, with a total of 30 satellites. This launch is the 29th networked satellite and the second geostationary orbit satellite. These satellites play a key role in satellite-based augmentation, short message communication, and precise single-point positioning. In May, China will launch the last geostationary orbit satellite as planned. By then, the deployment of Beidou III Global Constellation will be fully completed.

After the rocket took off for about 20 minutes, it successfully reached the observation and control arc of Yuanwang 5. As the only maritime measurement and control point of this mission, Yuanwang No. 5's various systems cooperate harmoniously, continuously measuring and controlling at sea for more than 300 seconds, and accurately and efficiently sending real-time measurement and control data to Xi'an Satellite Measurement and Control Center and Xichang Satellite Launch Center. Throughout the process, the measurement and control system captures the target quickly, the data is complete, and the information is exchanged correctly. It efficiently completes the telemetry, external measurement and satellite measurement and control tasks of the launch vehicle into the orbit. It provided strong measurement and control communication support for Beidou III satellite successfully entering the predetermined orbit.

For this mission, Yuanwang No. 5 vessel overcomes the impact of the new crown pneumonia epidemic, adheres to the "two-handed grasp" of epidemic prevention and control, and ensures personnel to sail with "zero infection". After the sailing, a comprehensive task software test and emergency Pre-plan drills, system joint commissioning and joint testing, etc., ensure the success of the mission. (Finish)
