The Ministry of Cabinet and Future Affairs and the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation have approved new appointments for a group of young Emirati leaders in both the Public Diplomacy Office of the Ministry of Cabinet and Future Affairs, and in a number of initiatives under the umbrella of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Initiatives, The largest humanitarian, relief and development institution in the region, which includes more than 30 institutions and initiatives.

The Minister of Cabinet Affairs and the future Mohammed Abdullah Al-Gergawi said that the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, are permanent to push young leaders to assume their responsibilities in government and humanitarian work.

Alia Al Hammadi was appointed Deputy Director General of the Public Diplomacy Office at the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs and the Future. Al-Hammadi and the Public Diplomacy Bureau team supervised the design of the visual media identity for the UAE, the largest national project of its kind that was launched late last year to design and develop a visual identity for the UAE, to establish its positive image in the global mindset, convey its inspiring story to the world, and highlight its economic and cultural ingredients Humanity and civilization.

Al-Hammadi won the Rashid Award for Academic Excellence, and is a graduate of the influential leadership program, which was launched by the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development.

The new appointments included the appointment of Mona Al Kindy as Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives.

Al-Kindy holds the position of Secretary-General of the “Arab Reading Challenge” initiative, the largest Arab knowledge initiative, to inculcate a culture of reading among young people in the Arab world, under the umbrella of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Initiatives. She also holds the position of Director of Strategic Communication in the Executive Office of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. She is a graduate of the influential leadership program at the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development.

Khaled al-Shehhi was appointed as an executive director in the Public Diplomacy Office of the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs and the Future, to oversee the production and digital communication sector in its various units and divisions, follow up on policy development and formulate strategic plans, thereby contributing to enhancing the impact and effectiveness of all channels and communication platforms, which represent various initiatives and projects With a local, regional and global dimension, and enhancing the image of the Emirates as an incubator for the leading development, humanitarian, cultural and knowledge projects.

Al-Shehhi has experience in setting and preparing digital communication policies, as well as his experience in marketing communication strategies and building a digital relationship network, where he held the position of director of the digital communication department at the Public Diplomacy Office, and contributed to overseeing the visual media identity project for the UAE; and “The Year of Good” Which was launched in 2017 to consolidate the system of giving and charitable work at the state level through three main axes: social responsibility, volunteering and serving the country. It also contributed to the supervision of the "Year of Reading" project, which was launched in 2016 to instill a culture of reading and knowledge in the UAE, and other national projects. Al-Shehhi is a graduate of the influential leadership program at the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development.

The appointments also included the appointment of Mohamed Salmin, Executive Director of the Support and Operations Sector in the Public Diplomacy Office of the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs and the Future, to oversee the logistical operations of the various projects, programs and campaigns designed by the office, by providing the mechanisms and facilities necessary to implement projects to ensure the achievement of specific and expected goals .

Salmin worked as Director of the Institutional Services Department at the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Initiatives Foundation, and Director of Operations Department in the Public Diplomacy Office, who is a graduate of the Emirates Government Leadership Program, which is affiliated to the Office of the Prime Minister in the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs and the Future.

She also worked on the "School" project, the largest online educational platform of its kind in the Arab world, to provide video educational lessons in science, mathematics and Arabic language materials for millions of Arab students for free.

Abdullah Al-Nuaimi was appointed Director of Media Relations Department at the Public Diplomacy Office at the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs and the Future, to oversee the development and development of media plans and strategies and design of media campaigns, in coordination with various departments and departments concerned with visual and digital media in the Public Diplomacy Office, as well as communicating with various institutions The media and public relations institutions inside and outside the country, to ensure the delivery of goals, mission and vision of the initiatives, programs and projects of the Public Diplomacy Office

Al-Naimi worked as director of a number of initiatives, and participated in the development of many media projects, campaigns and plans in the Public Diplomacy Office, among them the visual media identity project for the UAE. He also supervised the design of the media campaign for the Mars Exploration Project (Probe of Hope), which is the first Arab project to explore outer space for scientific purposes.
