The Director of the Dubai Traffic General Department, Brigadier Saif Muheir Al Mazrouei, revealed the introduction of a new radar device in the service, capable of identifying the status and behavior of drivers on the road while driving, indicating that the device was subjected to several and accurate experiments, until he proved his worth by the monitoring process , Indicating that the radar is one of the latest devices manufactured in Dubai Police, and contributes to controlling road security, and limits the commission of all kinds of violations.
He pointed out that the device can shoot video clips that monitor the status and behavior of drivers while driving, where several violations were committed by a number of drivers, such as busy without a road using the phone, non-commitment to the mandatory route, and lack of commitment to buckle-up, sudden deviation, and other Irregularities.
Brig. Al-Mazrouei pointed out that many people fall victim to the mistakes of others, as a result of some drivers not realizing the seriousness of their traffic violations, thinking that they are minor, knowing that they may cause tragic accidents, innocent victims.
The Director of Traffic Technologies in the General Traffic Department, Colonel Eng. Mohammed Ali Karam, said: “Dubai Police is proactive in searching for what is new and what is best to guarantee the rights of road users, and the device uses artificial intelligence technologies, and it can be programmed to control any type of violations and other misconduct, In addition to its connection to the automatic transmission network (4G), the violation handling platform in the system used, and the Radar Management System (RMS) ».
