Beginning on April 1, 2020, there will be a begging ban in several places around Kungsbacka municipality. One of the places is the square in central Kungsbacka.
However, Police Inspector Daniel Figueras testifies that begging does not occur to the same extent as some years ago. Rather, it is about a handful of individuals right now.
- Begging is not very common, I would say. Previously, there were several active and even a group that lived in their cars here in Kungsbacka, but they have disappeared by themselves, he says.
