The World Health Organization (WHO) has a press briefing on the issue of Corona 19 and says the situation in Korea, Italy, Iran and Japan is the biggest concern.

In particular, more than half of the 4,000 confirmed cases reported in South Korea were concerned that more than half of them occurred outside of China.

[Theodore Ross / WHO Secretary-General: Contagion in Korea, Italy, Iran and Japan is our greatest concern.]

However, the surveillance measures are working well in that the cases of infection in Korea were mainly confirmed by known groups rather than the community.

[Theodore Ross / WHO Secretary-General: This is important because surveillance measures are effective and mean that infectious diseases in Korea can still be suppressed.]

The WHO explains that while Corona 19 is rapidly spreading outside of China, it is rather declining in the epicenter of China.

If the evidence is backed up, I would declare a global pandemic, or pandemic, but not yet.

90% of all confirmed cases came from China, most of them from one region.

At the same time, he added, the WHO does not believe there is a corona19 confirmer in North Korea.
