Latvia confirmed for first time, woman traveling to Italy on March 3 at 7:11
The Latvian Ministry of Health in the Baltic States has announced on Tuesday that the first person in the country to be infected with the new coronavirus has been identified.
According to Latvian media, the infection was confirmed by a woman living in Latvia, who traveled northern Italy, flew by air to Munich, Germany, and returned to Latvia's capital, Riga, last month on the 29th.
The woman is currently isolated in a Latvian hospital and is in a stable condition.
