The Fujairah Misdemeanor Court heard a government agency official, as a proof of proof in the Asians case: The first is a contracting company owner, and the second is his son and partner at the same time, accused of digging a groundwater well and filling it in tanks, for the purpose of selling it and benefiting from it financially without the presence of a permit, or according to the rules and conditions followed .
The witness (a government official) said that during the periodic inspection of companies in the emirate, a groundwater desalination plant was monitored at the site of a commercial company, owned by the first and second defendants, as groundwater tanks, water withdrawal pipes and pumps were seized, in addition to a counter on the tanks, A closed room was found inside a water desalination plant. He added that a well was found under the water tank, and seized materials and equipment to fill water in the tanks, pointing out that all seizures were confiscated, and an administrative decision was issued to demolish the well, to stop the depletion of groundwater.
The witness confirmed before the court that the defendants were confronted after using the meter reading, as evidence of their condemnation, but they denied.
For his part, the defendant's lawyer demanded evidence of a well to drain the groundwater for the purpose of selling it, indicating that the defendant had filed an administrative complaint, at an earlier time, calling for the cancellation of the decision to close his company from work and imposing a fine on him of three million dirhams, continuing that the accusation was groundless It has health, as the commercial company was opened last July, and it was arrested last September, so how can he do these business within two months.
The court decided to defer consideration of the case to the next session.
