“Fishermen returned to Ukraine recently, who were recently detained by Russians in the Sea of Azov,” the message said.
The border service added that the tactical boat group of the marine guard provided escort of the craft to the port of Berdyansk, where now all circumstances of their detention by the Russian side are being established.
It is noted that each of the fishermen was brought to administrative responsibility for violating the border regime and the procedure for leaving the ship at sea. Their ship was banned from going to sea for 30 days.
On February 15, employees of the Crimean FSB border control announced the detention of a poaching vessel with four Ukrainians on board.
