China's manufacturing business sentiment hit record low, shortly after the collapse of Lehman Brothers on Feb. 29 at 10:47

An index of China's manufacturing sentiment this month was released, falling 14.3 points from last month to 35.7, down sharply, well below the 50 for economic judgment. This was even lower than 38.8 in November 2008, immediately after the Lehman shock, and was the lowest since January 2005 when data was available.
