28 February 2020 Italians traveling abroad for work or tourism or foreigners who have returned to their countries after having stayed in the affected Italian regions, and who have brought the coronavirus with them: the list of countries is growing day by day - almost twenty already - in which the first cases of contagion are related in some way to Italy.

* NIGERIA: an Italian who returned from Milan on February 25 is hospitalized. It is the first registered in the country.

* DENMARK: the first Danish positive result is a tourist who spent a week of vacation near Sondrio.

* HOLLAND: the first case is a person who has returned from northern Italy.

* MEXICO: a 34-year-old man from northern Italy is the first with the infection. He is hospitalized.

* LITHUANIA: a woman who returned from Verona on February 24 is in isolation but has no fever or other symptoms.

* ALGERIA: the first ascertained case is an Italian employee of Eni, who arrived in the country on 17 February.

* SPAIN: two Italians from Piacenza were infected in Tenerife. The first case in Catalonia is a 36-year-old Italian woman who has just returned from a trip to northern Italy.

* ROMANIA: the first case of Covid-19 is an employee of a restaurant managed by an Italian.

* CROATIA: the first infection is a young Croat who had been in Milan the week before.

* AUSTRIA: the two ascertained cases are a 24-year-old couple from Lombardy.

* SWITZERLAND: the first case, in the Canton of Ticino, is a 70 year old infected in the Milan area during a demonstration.

* BRAZIL: a man from San Paolo, who has just returned from Italy, tested positive. It is the first in the country.

* GREECE: the first infection is a 38-year-old Greek woman who has returned from a recent trip to an area in northern Italy.

* UNITED KINGDOM: report the first infection in Northern Ireland and the first in Wales. Both concern people from northern Italy.

* UNITED ARAB EMIRATES: the last two stages of the UAE Cycling Tour canceled after two Italian staff members were found positive.

* FRANCE: the first case diagnosed in Nice is a woman who has returned from Milan. Previously, a French citizen who had returned from Lombardy had been hospitalized.

* ISRAEL: a man returned from Italy with the coronavirus. Later the government signed a decree that prevents entry to those arriving from Italy.

* GERMANY: the first case in the southern Land of Baden-Wuerttemberg is a 25-year-old German who allegedly contracted the virus during a trip to Milan.

* ICELAND: an 80-year-old Icelandic returning from Italy is the first infected person in the country.
