Iran announced today, Friday, the suspension of all parliament sessions in the country due to the outbreak of the new Corona virus.

"Because of the spread of Corona virus in the country, the board of directors of the Iranian parliament decided not to hold any session of parliament until further notice," the official radio and television agency quoted a spokesman for the Iranian parliament, Asadullah Abbasi, as saying.

A member of the Iranian Parliament’s Presidency, Mohammad Ali Wakili, wrote on Twitter this Friday: “4 parliamentarians have been infected with Corona virus after examining 30 of the 290 deputies, and the rest of the members will be examined consecutively.”

Meanwhile, Iranian Health Minister Saeed Nemki announced that all schools across the country will be closed for three days from tomorrow, Saturday, due to concerns about the Corona virus.
