The agreement that was signed meant that Anders Ericsson, in addition to his occupational pension, also received a lump sum of SEK 3 million. A lump sum for which Jämtkraft paid an extra salary tax of approximately SEK 800,000. Neither Jämtkraft nor Rådhus AB's boards were informed of the agreement.

The agreement is described as inappropriate

In a press release, Rådhus AB writes that the agreements were entered into on a legal basis, but that the formal handling that would be followed in accordance with the procedures that are in force for consultation and information has been broken on several points.

"Rådhus AB's Board of Directors also states that this type of agreement is both inappropriate and out of date and would not have been signed for a municipal manager in Östersund," the press release states.

AnnSofie Andersson leaves the board

In a press release AnnSofie Andersson writes that she considered the agreement to be "well generous", but that she made the assessment that it was what she had to relate to and based on when the agreement was to be renewed in 2016. She also regrets that neither Jämtkrafts nor Rådhus AB The boards of directors were informed about the agreement.

In the press release she describes the last year as "trying" and announces that she is leaving Jämtkraft's board:

- I therefore do not intend to take any dispute about an agreement signed four years ago - an agreement that was concluded on the basis of the conditions in force at that time - it is simply not worth it. Instead, I choose to leave Jämtkraft's board in conjunction with the AGM now in May, she writes.
