According to what SVT experiences, a private sponsor has gone in with money to save the festival.
No one from the organizer Music in Dalarna wants to answer any questions about the money, but county music director Karin Holdar, basically confirms the information. She points out that no decisions have been made and that the municipalities in Mora, Orsa and Älvdalen must first be contacted.
But everything indicates that some kind of Winterfest is coming back.
