On Tuesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu mourned Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, praising a leader who "led his people toward peace" and offered his condolences for his death.

He said Mubarak "was a leader who led his people towards peace and security, and toward peace with Israel," adding that he was "a personal friend of mine, and I have met him many times and admired his commitment for peace."

"We will continue to move forward on this common path," he stressed.

And the Israeli "Kan" channel announced the condolences of the Israeli Prime Minister, who stated, "On behalf of the Israeli people and the Israeli government, I would like to express my deep sorrow for the departure of President Hosni Mubarak."

She made it clear that Netanyahu was seeking to send condolences to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and the Mubarak family.

And yesterday, Tuesday, Egyptian TV announced the death of former President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak, at the age of 92.

Al-Jazeera correspondent Khaled Al-Masry said - quoting a security source - that Mubarak died in the central care room of the Al-Galaa Military Hospital in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.

Mubarak was admitted to Al-Galaa Hospital on the morning of January 21st of last January, and after medical examinations he performed on Friday, January 24th, the previous operation to remove a stomach tumor, and then moved to the intensive care room.
