Federation Council approved the law on the expansion of the maternity capital program

As RIA Novosti reports, it extends the capital capital program until December 31, 2026, and also extends payments for the birth of the first-born.

The draft was adopted by the State Duma in the third, final reading on February 20.

According to the document, if the first child was born or was adopted from January 1, 2020, then payment of 466 617 rubles is provided.

At the birth of a second child in such a family, it will increase by 150 thousand rubles and will amount to 616 617 rubles.
