"We belong to God and to Him we shall return. Turn to the mercy of God this morning, my father, President Mubarak. O God, forgive him and forgive him and have mercy on him." With these words, Alaa Mubarak announced on Twitter the death of his father, former Egyptian President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak.
With this announcement, Mubarak turned to the list of hashtags, the most widely circulated in Egypt and in a number of Arab countries, bringing with him widespread controversy between those who have mercy on him and those who mentioned the disadvantages of his rule.
Mubarak died at the age of 92, in the intensive care room of the Al-Galaa Military Hospital in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
Mubarak took over Egypt for nearly thirty years, as he became President of the Republic after the assassination of his predecessor Anwar Sadat on October 6, 1981, and the end of his rule was in 2011, when he was toppled by the January 25 revolution that forced him to step down and hand over power to the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces in February 11 of that year.
A large number of jurists and opposition figures were eager during Mubarak's era to participate in the # Hosni Mubarak mark, and most of their comments came as an attack on the policies of the man, who led the Egyptians to revolt against him, while others offered condolences to his family.
Some felt that the only good thing Mubarak did was to resign from his illegitimate rule of Egypt, and that he should have died in prison for his crimes against the Egyptian people, including killing hundreds of Egyptians who protested his rule.
Some activists also compared the state’s position on Mubarak’s death, announcing the mourning and holding a military funeral for him. He made clear her position on the death of the late President Mohamed Morsi, where she refused to hold a funeral or even a funeral ceremony, and arrested anyone who tried to pay his respects to his family.

The deposed president, Hosni_ Mubarak, ruled a 30-year rule, during which he forged the will of the people several times to remain in power, and to take advantage of his family and relatives and their entourage of the wealth of Egypt and the Egyptians who impoverished and humiliated them until he wanted to inherit his authority to his son. For me, he died in February 2011, and his death announcement was postponed to February 2020. |
Mubarak died and was disciplined, and he saw trained teams with the same morals and worst, including those who saw him as role models and some who saw that the problem of Mubarak was that he was kind and his heart was great, and some of them who saw that we were wronged in his right. |

Badri Badri Khannaqah will be "Remember the benefits of your dead" and not gloating at death. |
I was arrested in 2007 as soon as my father learned that he had arrested me. He went into a hepatic coma that lasted 26 days. He saddened me. When his condition deteriorated, I was allowed to leave the prison to visit him for half an hour. On my way back to prison, I called on Mubarak and his regime, and my father remained in a bad condition until he passed away. I considered that Mubarak himself was killed by # Mubarak_Mate - abdelmoneim Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim Mahmoud (@moneimpress) February 25, 2020 |
May God have mercy on him and the patience of his family for his separation. As an Egyptian, I participated on January 25. No dispute prevents me from having mercy on the heart of Mubarak. |
