Johanna Sjögren has had an interest in textile crafts and sewing since she was very small. But during the school years she had a tough time and has had mental health problems ever since.

It was when she got help through Samhall that it finally turned and today 24-year-old Johanna has her dream job as a teaching assistant in textile crafts at a school in Luleå.

- Today I wake up with a smile on my lips in the mornings, she says.

Hope to be able to educate

Johanna does much the same thing as regular textile teachers, but is an extra resource in the classroom.

- There will be much more work peace in the classroom as the students do not have to wait as long for help, says textile teacher Margareta Lindvall, who is Johanna's supervisor.

The next step for Johanna is that she hopes to become a textile teacher.

Hear Johanna tell herself about her path to the dream job in the clip above.
