Former Egyptian President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak died on Tuesday afternoon, after a struggle with the disease, deteriorating health and entering intensive care last weekend.

A military funeral is scheduled to be held from the Mosque of the Field Marshal Tantawi in the Fifth Assembly area in Cairo, in the presence of a number of Egyptian state leaders, and fans of the former President.

It is noteworthy that Alaa Mubarak revealed a few days ago that his father was inside the intensive care room in a hospital, as a result of a health problem.

Farid al-Deeb, the lawyer of the former president, denied this morning the widespread news about Mubarak's death, and said in press statements: The former president is in good health.
