The Paris Stock Exchange opened sharply down on Monday (-2.55%), given the worsening health crisis linked to the spread of the coronavirus epidemic outside China, which poses a risk that is still difficult to assess on the global economy.

At 9:00 a.m., the CAC 40 index fell from 153.86 points to 5,875.86 points. As of Friday, the Paris index had closed down 0.54%.
