The drama took place on Sunday, at the end of the afternoon, in a building in the Cité des Provinces, in Laxou, in the suburbs of Nancy. Rescue workers were called in the late afternoon by a man who had just been stabbed, according to L'Est Républicain.
On site, on the 9th floor, the firefighters found the victim injured on the side by a stab. Deprived of an elevator and obliged to evacuate it horizontally, they called on the Group for reconnaissance and intervention in perilous environments (Grimp). But the exit from the outside could not take place. The 40-year-old "made a second cardio-respiratory arrest", explains lieutenant Montané, quoted by the regional daily.
Why did the victim receive a fatal blow? A brawl with a group of young people is mentioned. Police officers from the Nancy SRPJ are in charge of the investigation.
