Austrian Federal Railways (AFJD) has announced that it will be able to launch trains through the Brenner border crossing in Italy from February 24 on a schedule.

“The ban on the authorities at Brenner has been canceled,” the company said.

Austrian Interior Minister Karl Nehammer also said that two passengers traveling from Italy did not confirm a suspected infection with the coronavirus infection COVID-2019.

Earlier, the representative of the Austrian Federal Railways, Robert Lechner, said that train traffic between Austria and Italy was temporarily suspended.
