The activities of the Emirates Innovation Month in Dubai, organized by the General Secretariat and the Executive Council, were launched yesterday, from February 22 to 28, in the Emirates Towers area, under the slogan "innovate in preparation for its fifty" with the participation of a number of government agencies.

The government events platform in Dubai will review the most important and latest innovations and best government practices, and projects and implementation of the Dubai 10X initiative will be launched. 19 sessions will be organized with speakers from the government and private sectors, and entrepreneurs in the field of innovation, in addition to a number of knowledge sessions organized with the participation of a number of federal entities.

Dubai Innovation Week witnesses an innovative events package in terms of content, experiences and ideas, which in its entirety support the initiative's main goal in promoting the innovation culture in society, and preparing a generation of innovators who are able to make a positive change in human life and future, and within the framework of Dubai’s keenness to play a leading role in The march of development and development, and finding the elements capable of accelerating its pace, and supporting the Emirates vision in converting innovation into a societal culture, and adapting it to serve and develop all vital sectors.

The events target all segments of society to inform them of the most important efforts made in this field, through which Dubai aspires to achieve its goals of leadership and the forefront of global competitiveness indicators, and enhance the sustainability of its economy according to innovative foundations.

The Secretary-General of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, Abdullah Al Basti, stressed that "innovation is our bet to ensure the sustainability of our future." He added that "this event would pave the way for us to open new horizons of excellence and creativity, which contributes to achieving the happiness and well-being of society."

The Director General of the Health Authority in Dubai, Hamid Mohammed Al Qatami, stated that the authority is proceeding at a rapid pace on the path of possessing new generation technologies, including robots, artificial intelligence, 3D printing, and other smart solutions that it employed in its medical facilities, to perform major and accurate surgeries, Hence, providing an advanced integrated health care system, better serving people, as well as developing professional practices among the medical and technical cadres.

Through its participation in the Dubai Innovation Week, the authority is reviewing a set of modern smart technologies and solutions, among them: a catheter robot, which is used in stroke catheterization operations, a backbone robot used in the treatment of complex fractures, and spinal warp.

On the participation of the Roads and Transport Authority, Director General of the Authority’s Board of Directors, Matar Mohammed Al Tayer, confirmed the adoption of innovative solutions to meet current and future transportation challenges in the emirate.

He said that the authority entered a race against time to implement four initiatives within the "Dubai 10X" project, to provide ideas and innovative solutions that predate the cities of the world by 10 years, and also began implementing several means within the joint transportation initiative with the aim of providing alternatives to the population and facilitating mobility, especially for short trips and first-mile trips And the last.

The Commander in Chief of Dubai Police, Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, stressed that Dubai Police is keen to employ innovation to support its strategic directions to delight society and make Dubai a safer and safer city.
