He was recognized by his DNA and was indicted in the process. A 17-year-old boy was remanded in Angers on Tuesday after the rape of a 62-year-old woman. According to Le Courrier de l'Ouest , the facts go back to the end of January. The victim was walking briskly around a pond when she was attacked, early in the morning. The suspect allegedly threatened him with a pair of scissors before raping her.

Thanks to samples taken on the spot and the reporting of two witnesses, the man was able to be found on Sunday, not far from the places where the acts were committed. He is an unaccompanied minor, followed by the departmental council, and previously unknown to the justice system.
