The World Health Organization warned against exaggeration in taking measures to combat the spread of the new Corona virus, at a time when the death toll from the virus in China nearly yesterday, 1900 people, while several countries began evacuating their citizens from the cruise ship "Diamond Princess".

In parallel, the number of infections in mainland China rose to 72,300 people, and to 900 in about 30 other countries in the world.

Despite these numbers, the World Health Organization sought, yesterday, to reassure, stressing that outside of Hubei Province in central China, Covid-19 virus infected only "a very small percentage of the population", and its death rate until now is about 2%.

Outside of China, the largest number of injuries is recorded inside the Diamond Princess cruise ship, which has been quarantined since the beginning of February in Yokohama Bay, near Tokyo.

Its passengers, numbering more than 3,700 people, received orders to stay in their rooms for two weeks, but these measures did not prevent the virus from spreading, according to the latest toll, 542 people on board, after discovering 88 additional cases, yesterday, according to the Japanese Ministry of Health.

Several countries began to evacuate their citizens from the ship. More than 300 Americans were evacuated by air to the United States, where they had to spend 14 days in stone. London, for its part, announced yesterday that it would evacuate "as quickly as possible" its 74 citizens on board.

A second injury was recorded among four French people on board the ship

Outside China, the largest number of injuries has been recorded inside the Diamond Princess, a quarantine vessel since early February.
