"Suspected of committing an act of vandalism against the graves of Christians on February 7, six teenagers aged 15-16 were detained by the Ankara Gendarmerie Office, the case was transferred to the prosecutor's office, the suspects are being interrogated," the agency reports to RIA Novosti.

According to the agency, earlier information appeared that vandals in Ankara had broken the tombstones of 20 graves of Christians, among whom were immigrants from Russia.

In mid-February, the Russian embassy in Bulgaria reported that in Sofia, unknown persons desecrated the graves of Soviet soldiers.
