“The plane flies for Ukrainians on Tuesday, we expect arrival on Thursday in Ukraine,” Ukrinform quotes the deputy head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Health, Viktor Lyashko.
According to him, before landing, citizens who wish to leave China will undergo a medical examination twice by Chinese and Ukrainian doctors. Only those with no symptoms will be allowed aboard.
“It is a common practice that healthy people will be evacuated,” he added.
It is specified that 49 citizens of Ukraine, as well as almost 25 foreigners intend to evacuate from Wuhan.
Earlier, Prime Minister of Ukraine Aleksey Goncharuk said that Ukrainians from China will be evacuated after the government is 100% sure that the coronavirus infection will not spread to the country.
