Since the night before Friday, Swedbank's website and e-services have been down. According to Swedbank, the problems were due to "internal network errors".

- We fixed the problem on Friday and continued with entertainment on Saturday. Now it is fully addressed, says Carina Sesser Nylund, press contact at Swedbank.

According to the bank, millions of customers have been affected by the operational disruption. Both card terminals and Swish were down during the Friday morning, which hit extra hard on those customers who had no cash available.

- We urge those who have suffered financially to contact the bank. Since then we make assessments on a case-by-case basis if this is an economic compensation, says Carina Sesser Nylund.
