Al-Jazeera correspondent reported that Israeli warplanes targeted the site of the Palestinian resistance in the central Gaza Strip early Sunday. Local sources reported that the occupation raids caused material damage to the target site without reporting any injuries.

A spokesman for the Israeli occupation army, Avichai Adraei, said in a statement that fighter jets and helicopters raided a number of Hamas targets in the southern Gaza Strip, including a military complex, in the middle of the strip.

The raid came, a few hours after the Israeli army announced, on Saturday evening, that it had detected the launching of two rockets from the Gaza Strip towards the adjacent Israeli settlements, and no Palestinian factions in Gaza had claimed responsibility for the rocket launch.
