Swedbank's website, app, e-services and the Swish payment service were down during Friday. There have also been problems with card payments.

At 5.30 pm, the bank updated its post about the disruptions on Facebook and wrote that the services work as usual again. But customer comments continue to pour in:

“At first the swish worked for me but not the app and now it is the opposite? I wonder how you fix your problems? ”

"HELLO!!! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU KEEPING WITH NOTHING YOU WORK !!! ”

"Is there any forecast for the Swish function? Hope you get it fixed so your heroes can have a weekend too soon. Fight!"

“Do you pay for our pizzas, which are cold at the pizzeria? I'm hungry and Swish doesn't work ”

"Missed ticket purchases when swish didn't work and now the tickets are over"

Some comments indicate that there are also problems with transferring money from other banks to Swedbank accounts via Swish.

Tips on restarting

For some, however, the services seem to work after a restart of the phone:

"Everything works perfectly now!"

"Now I've used ATM, Swish and refueled the car."

According to Swedbank's Press Manager Unni Jerndal, the disturbance was due to an internal fault, but she did not go into further detail what kind of fault it was.

In the Facebook post, the bank writes that they will reimburse customers who have been hit by extra costs as a result of the disruptions.
