The 30-year-old man is also the recipient of the same order for pre-trial detention in prison, issued by the investigating magistrate at the Court of Rome, at the request of the local District Anti-Mafia Directorate, which had already led to the arrest of 35 people belonging to the clan for having constituted and taken part in the mafia association and held responsible, in competition with the other arrested, and with different roles, for having set up an organization dedicated to the trafficking and sale of narcotic substances, as well as other crimes such as extortion, usury, illicit granting of loans and more, all committed with the aggravating circumstance of the mafia method.

Specifically, from the investigative activities of the Carabinieri of the Investigation Unit of Frascati emerges certainly a leading role also for Salvatore, who resides a few meters from the stronghold of the clan chief at Porta Furba. His criminal escalation dates back to a few years ago, in 2015 the owner of a pub in the Tuscolano district denounced that Salvatore Casamonica, who showed up at his business, would have tried to extort the sum of 500 euros per week, threatening to set the structure on fire if had not fulfilled the request.

Upon denial, after a few hours, Salvatore Casamonica would return to the pub, this time accompanied by Pasquale Casamonica called "Rocky", uncle of the brothers Guerrino and Emanuel, who beat the owner and an employee. Once arrested, the member of the Casamonica family was taken to prison in Regina Coeli, available to the Judicial Authority.
