Yerkhov noted that the situation in Syrian Idlib caused an increase in tension in Turkey’s social networks.

“Look at what a monstrous whistle-blower began in social networks,” Turkey Erhova quotes Sputnik.

He emphasized that a similar situation occurred five years ago and it led to the “airplane crisis” and the assassination of Russian ambassador Andrei Karlov.

“I myself have been directly threatened,” he added.

Earlier, the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Army General Valery Gerasimov, held telephone conversations with his Turkish counterpart General Yashar Guler on the situation in the de-escalation zone in Idlib.
