When a person is passionate about his craft, he will attract everyone's attention, and this is what happened to the teenager, Ciara Jean, who made and decorated her own dress for her high school graduation ceremony.

When the Filipino student posted her dress photos on Twitter, she was attracted to the attention of the media. Ceará (17 years old) combined her love of art and graduation parties, and she spent a month working on her new dress, including all the time it took to design, so she could graduate in style. She made a unique dress, decorated with hand-painted flowers and pleats.

Ciara says that her mother inspired and encouraged her to sew the dress "Because I like to try new things, I said to myself why not?" It was the last big event for me at school, and I had about a month before graduation, so I would be able to focus more on making the dress without worrying about school commitment. ”The student decided to do everything herself, after she refused to help designers.

The student and her mother bought approximately 12 meters of fabric, sewing and other embroidery items. “My mother and I sewed every part of the skirt, one after the other,” she says. Ciara also noted that it took five full days to paint flowers, and this requires patience and focus. According to the student, she made her dress in Emerald color because she is a fan of "Harry Potter."

Ciara recounts: “I re-read the book (Tiger Night), finally, and that had an impact on me, then I decided to draw orange flowers.” Continued: “I turned away from the basic roses and small flowers, because although they are beautiful, they do not reflect my personality. And I like the vitality of bright colors like orange and green. ”
