The specifications included assessing the environmental impact of choosing station locations in a way that suits the nature of the region, using local plants in 30% of the stations area to limit the use of irrigation water, and selecting station sites to serve areas with high population density to reduce the effects of vehicle use, and providing shaded parking for bicycles Connect it to the bicycle network to promote alternative transportation, and provide outdoor space for stations to encourage social interaction.
