Yesterday, the Abu Dhabi Appeals Court examined the case of a company accused of negligence and causing the death of a stunning worker during the charging of his phone, and the employment of a worker without her sponsorship, and decided to reserve the case for judgment in the 18th session of this month.
Details of the case are due to the death of an Asian (a fugitive from his sponsor) who was electrocuted inside a site under construction, while trying to charge his mobile phone from the electrical connections on the site. The accused denied that the victim was working for the company, attributing the reason for his knowledge of the site to the fact that he had previously worked on the site with a subcontracting company.
