Berlin (dpa) - In the course of the discussion before the Bundestag decision on an organ donation reform, the number of orders for donor ID cards has doubled in January, according to a media report. 740,000 ID cards were ordered in the month, according to the business magazine "Business Insider", citing figures from the Federal Center for Health Education. Previously, according to the BZgA, there were an average of around 330,000 orders per month, and the Bundestag decided in mid-January after a controversial debate to moderate reform of organ donation.
