Laffont won with a total of 79.33 points in the super-final, ahead of Australian Jakara Anthony (78.49 pts) and Canadian Justine Dufour-Lapointe (78.14 pts).

At 21, she signed her 15th victory and her 27th World Cup podium.

"It's always difficult in Deer Valley. It's the most difficult track on the circuit, it's hard and steep. Winning here is strong, it means that you are a good skier," explained the double world champion in parallel.

With a perfect score of 600 points, she is 296 points ahead of her runner-up in the World Cup standings, Australian Jakara Anthony (304 pts), while there are seven races to go, including a second in Deer Valley on Saturday. .
