"This is a person who has been in China for the past two weeks and has had respiratory problems," Christian Romin Blomkvist, infectious disease physician in the Kronoberg Region told SVT.
The person has been in China during the incubation period, but not in the severely affected Hubei province. The person should not be seriously ill and has had to go home in anticipation of trial answers which are expected to come on Friday.
So far, there is a case of confirmed coronavirus in Sweden and the risk of infection spreading in society is considered very low by the Public Health Authority.
