Finally, the Ministry announced that it will work during the next stage to develop Al Ittihad Street, which links the emirates of Sharjah and Dubai, and the development process - which will cost an estimated cost of 230 million dirhams - will include the Nahda and the successor adults, and increase the road capacity by 3000 vehicles / hour in Each direction, in addition to separating the slow traffic, within a service road consisting of two lanes in each direction, for a distance of 2.5 km at the beginning of the Emirate of Sharjah with its borders with the Emirate of Dubai.

The Ministry will also develop Al-Dhaid Street with a length of 30 km, as the Ministry aims to expand the road to three lanes, in addition to constructing a new bridge within the project at an estimated cost of 220 million dirhams, which contributes to raising its carrying capacity at a rate of 2000 vehicles / hour per direction, Noting that within the project development process, an additional lane will be allocated for trucks, which reduces traffic accidents, and the expected delay resulting from the slow traffic of trucks.
