Landed last July after having warned that she was vying for the LREM nomination for the municipal elections, facing Christian Estrosi, Joëlle Martinaux indicated this Thursday evening at 20 Minutes that she would not finally appear in the next elections. She even "reaches out" to "the outgoing mayor".
“I agree with the instructions of the [LREM] party which is in the process of deciding not to present a candidate against Christian Estrosi. And I am available to accompany the outgoing mayor on health and social issues, ”explains the former president of the CCAS, head of the SOS Doctors Nice association.
Camp Estrosi does not react
"I have always been available in fact. I never wanted to give up the actions and the missions that I led with the municipal team ”, points out Joëlle Martinaux. And to plead: "We must go beyond the parties, especially on the issues that concern social".
