In Paris, the candidacy of Agnès Buzyn in the 15th arrondissement is also still on the agenda. In the entourage of the candidate invested by LREM vis-a-vis Anne Hidalgo, one underlines in any case the "great qualities" of Agnès Buzyn, in particular his experience on the questions of solidarity and health. The minister would thus join Marlène Schiappa, Secretary of State for Gender Equality, and Agnès Pannier-Runacher, Secretary of State to the Minister of Economy and Finance, candidates in the 16th and 17th arrondissements alongside Benjamin Griveaux.
Lecornu and Riester candidates
Several other ministers are casting doubt. Other members of the government are also approached on majority lists. This is particularly the case of Elisabeth Borne in Montrouge (Hauts-de-Seine), Emmanuelle Wargon in Saint-Mandé (Val-de-Marne) or even Aurélien Taquet in Asnières-sur-Seine (Hauts- de-Seine). If they confirm their candidacy on a list, they will join in the municipal battle their colleagues Geneviève Darrieussecq, candidate in Mont-de-Marsan, Jean-Baptiste Djebbari in Limoges, Christelle Dubos in Sadirac (Gironde), Marc Fesneau in Marchenoir (Loir-et-Cher) and Gabriel Attal in Vanves (Hauts-de-Seine).
The Biarritz case
In the candidacies of members of the government, Biarritz is a special case: Didier Guillaume, Minister of Agriculture, is at the top of the list facing the outgoing Michel Veunac (Modem), which counts Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, Secretary of State to the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, among his running mate.
