Gunnar Gustavsson was offered the care guarantee unit after just over two weeks, because the skin clinic in Västerås could not offer a first visit within 90 days and fulfill the care guarantee. He also thinks that it was unnecessary for him to get a taxi back and forth.

- I think it is perfectly reasonable that we give this opportunity to the patient and then it is worth it to spend resources when we ourselves can not fulfill the assignment, says regional council Kenneth Östberg (S).
