On Monday night, Tove Alexandersson won the Radio Sport's Jerring Award at the Sports Gala in the Globe. During the same evening, the 27-year-old was named female athlete of the year and was awarded the Swedish daily Dagbladet gold.

Now it is clear to participate in the SM week which this year takes place in Halmstad. Halmstad orienteering club is delighted with the fine visit.

"We get media attention and our young people have to look up to their role models," says Mikael Lundqvist, chairman of the club.

New for this year is that the knockout sprint becomes a competition branch, which can be a good upload as the branch also debuts in the World Cup in Denmark.

In the clip, Mikael Lundqvist tells how the news was received by the club.
