Alm was shut down in December and was no longer allowed to represent the party in political contexts, while charges against him were investigated.
“The decision to exclude Simon Alm from the Swedish Democrats is based on a balanced picture of how he has acted, not least during his time as chairman of the district. He has for several years, among other things, counteracted and frozen out both individual members and officials employed by the national organization. He has engaged in partisan activities and violated the party's statutes, ” said party secretary Richard Jomshof in a written comment to TT.
